USA Rugby & Serevi™ Set To Team Up

BOULDER, Co. — Today, USA Rugby and Serevi™ announced a new partnership to kick off with a jointly organized coaching clinic February 9-10, 2012 in Las Vegas. The Serevi Sevens Rugby Seminarwill feature sevens legend Waisale Serevi and his team who will engage participants in a sevens-specific clinic for high school, college, and senior club coaches from around the country.

The clinic, which is exclusive to USA Rugby members, will be held at Bally’s Hotel in Las Vegas in conjunction with the USA Sevens, the fifth leg of the HSBC Sevens World Series. The course will be worth ten continuing education credits within USA Rugby while the cost of the course is $125.

It’s been nearly a month since I last posted. I needed to take some time off to lay the groundwork for another run at public office in 2012. It’s a passion of mine and even though I know my chances of getting elected are very slim, I feel I play an important role when it comes to educating the general public that there are choices beyond Democrats & Republicans.

Unlike 2008 & 2010, I now have a dedicated core group of volunteers who will help me in my efforts, so my blogs won’t need to take a backseat to my political aspirations. So now that the blueprint has been drawn, I’m back. While I’ve missed out posting about club rugby, there’s been very little news when it comes to USA Rugby, so it’s not like I’m that far behind.

And with that out of the way, let’s talk some European club rugby!
